A GLBT resort town for over 100 years, Gay Ogunquit (pronounced exactly as it looks) is a casual, friendly getaway for the GLBT community. At only four square miles, it is one of the most walkable cities in the US. Gay Ogunquit is made up of two areas -- the village, where most of the gay bars are, and Perkins Cove, a quaint little lobstering cove with shops and restaurants.                    The high season in Gay Ogunquit is from Memorial Day to Labor Day, and the town can get crowded so make your reservations early. If coming on the off-season, make sure to call ahead as many places have different hours, prices, or may be closed depending on the time of year. There are plenty of beautiful places to walk, and a trolley runs through town to make getting around even easier. There are three miles of beach, and you will find the gay section by heading about 200 yards north on the beach. The locals here are super friendly and helpful. Besides the beach, Gay Ogunquit offers a fun local gay nightlife, antique shops, boat cruises and excellent dining. There are a ton of great places to eat here, and no major restaurant chains to detract from the local flair. Whether taking a vacation, a romantic getaway, or just a break from the big city blues, Gay Ogunquit is a beautiful place to relax, any time of year. Looking for Ogunquit Lodging or an Ogunquit Bed and Breakfast? Two Village Square is located in the Village and is the perfect location for your Ogunquit Vacation.
